DUAL CREDIT PROGRAMS
What does this mean?
Dual Credit refers to the opportunity for current Langley students to obtain both high school graduation credits at the same time as receiving either post-secondary course credits and/or industry training credits.
Langley has partnered with the Industry Training Authority (ITA) to offer Dual Credit Youth TRAIN in Trades programs and Youth WORK in Trades programs. Both of these options are available to qualified students in Grades 11 and 12. They are wonderful opportunities for students to explore outside learning experiences in the skilled trades while working towards a high school diploma.
Langley has partnered with Kwantlen Polytechnic University to offer highly motivated students to enrol in a variety of 100-level courses at the Langley KPU campus. These courses provide Grade 12 students an opportunity to experience the post-secondary environment, earn post-secondary credits at the same time as simultaneously earning Grade 12 elective course credits.
